RiLù Ristorante — Restaurant in Spello

My wife and I felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. While we love Umbrian cuisine, we find that most of the restaurants are offering a lot of the same dishes. This restaurant is offering seafood dishes and they are prepared at the highest level. We found the fish to be fresh and exquisitely prepared. The service was excellent, attentive yet relaxed. If you aren’t a fish eater, they do have other excellent options. We had mussels and calamari for appetizers and branzino and octopus for our main courses. This could be a much longer review, but there are two clear takeaways: the level of service and the preparation of the food. I dined in a party of six. Our waiter paired us with two immaculate bottles of wine that paired well with our selections. Each person within the party was overjoyed with the food the received.
