Great place for lunch. This place is open in Spello when all the others are mostly closed in the afternoon. Food is super fresh! Nice basement arrangement where you sit surrounded by wine. What i didnt like is that the owner (or manager) opened some bottle of wine after we had nice small talk and offered me some wine without letting me know the price or asking me if i wanted to pay X amount for this wine.It looked like a nice gesture to me but i was charged for it eventually. Its unprofessional in my opinion. Obv i paid and left (i won’t figure out how much was that when on vacation in Italy and my total bill was around €30). he possibly can open bottle while talking to you, pour it and you would need to pay for it (double check the price of wine and ask if you will be charged or its a restaurant compliment) Rather than that, everything was great. Enoteca offers so much more than a fabulous meal and delicious wine; it is an experience that will be one of the highlights of your trip! Our niece vacationed in Spello and ate at Enoteca three days in a row. She raved about it, and when we planned our vacation in Perugia, we made sure not to miss it. Our wine tasting dinner here "completed" a lovely day trip to Spello. Owner and Master sommelier Roberto spent a lot of personal time with our group of 6. He was extremely engaging and also entertaining as he not only explained the wines but the wine business. The food, the wine, and the staff were all excellent, but Roberto was the star of the show.
