Pizzeria Friggitoria Artigianale Bella 'Mbriana — Restaurant in Sulmona

Very nice experience. When we first entered la Bella 'mbriana it was fully booked and we did not have a reservation. The waitress who welcomed us, however, offered to tell us via WhatsApp when a table would get free. All restaurants were booked, so when she contacted us we rushed to the restaurant, pleased to have found a place. Best pizza (and dessert, and appetizers) we've had in the Abruzzen. Friendly service, and open a bit earlier than most Italien restaurants. They have an inner courtyard, so you can still sit outside.

Minor notes for improvement: the pizza Diavola wasn't at all spicy, and the inner courtyard didn't have much atmosphere, but the top shelf food more than makes up for it. We were there twice, and everything we tried...

È una pizzeria che sostanzialmente emula l'impasto della classica napoletana!! Premetto che da anni frequento Napoli per motivi di lavoro e di conseguenza avrò assaporato e confrontato centinaia di pizze e mi sento di lasciare questa piccola critica costruttiva da intendersi tale e non come una recensione pessimistica, anche perché sono svariate volte che frequento questa pizzeria ed ho notato cambiamenti peggiorativi soltanto nell'ultimo anno!! L'impasto è molto soffice e cresciuto ma troppo abbondante, sia nella parte centrale che nei bordi e di conseguenza tende a cuocersi poco e vi lascio immaginare quanto possa rimanere pesante alla fine della pizza! Altra cosa che critico è il pomodoro, un sugo molto piu da pasta asciutta/supplì piuttosto che da pizza in quanto l'aglio nella cottura per quest'ultima non deve esistere e crea uno squilibrio nel concetto della pizza che ci si aspetta e che immancabilmente viene alterato fuori dalla patria! Il menù lo reputo molto sfizioso ed è un vero peccato non correggere queste piccole cose!! Inoltre la mozzarella che utilizzavano un tempo era qualitativamente superiore a quella odierna che somiglia molto alle solite filanti da pizzeria ad...
