Superb food and the warmest welcome. A bright, smart interior, but with a warm welcoming feel - someone has put a lot of thought into the decor. The menu was short but well judged, all fish as you might expect here, with a good variety of flavours and textures. Our meals were cooked to perfection. We intend to return and eat our way through the menu, it looks that good. Highly recommended!

Locanda dei Mori is recently opened and it deserves to do well.

First impression is a smart and stylish place, very attractive even before you go in. But you will quickly find the warmth of an Italian heart; friends and family calling for a chat and in general it feels like an important part of the community. The welcome we received was warm and generous, Marinella and Tiziana couldn't do enough to look after us and we quickly felt like friends.

The food is inspired by nouvelle cuisine, but all the flavour combinations were perfectly judged and the results are a triumph. The cooking itself is excellent as well; this is a chef who really knows what he is doing. It must also be said there is nothing nouvelle cuisine about the portions; our plates were generously filled every time.

It's hard to do justice to a place like Locanda dei Mori in a short review like this. Just go and try it, and we look forward to finding a queue out of the door...

I stopped by because we were around the corner and needed something tasty, easy, and quick. I asked the sisters, Marinella and Tatiana, if I could take things to go, which CERTO! I could.

I am SO. DARN. HAPPY that I did this. Marinella and I chatted while Tatiana made my order. Both are delightful people, so happy to be doing what they do. We had caponata (good), busiata with pistachio pesto (REALLY good), spaghetto with anchovy and breadcrumbs (AMAZING), and the best cannolo I've ever had with ricotta and pistachio.

This place surprised us with the tastes, its luxurious simplicity and Italian cuisine with refined character. I am rather quite reserved when it comes to ordering seafood and especially mussels ( that I am big fan of). But when it comes to this place it was unnecessary, because it was unexpectedly delicious with interesting herbal heart in it! Even my quests of refined tastes were positively surprised with this food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The charm of the owners made it last the whole evening.
