This was an unexpected surprise and a rare moment in choosing a restaurant without fully reviewing prior to attending…so it was a risk… a risk very well paid off! Without doubt, this place serves the best pizza, tonda, in Tarquinia and even Viterbo… which is a big call. There are only a handful of pizzas on the menu, which are rotated frequently. Honestly, it was one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a very long time in central Italy. The fritti also are exceptional, I highly recommended the fried jalapeños and supplì, made in house. The beer list is also to be commended, with the usual suspects, plus a good list of artigianale beers. To top it all off, the service by what seemed like the owner and a wonderful lady at the counter, was exceptional and made for a really down to earth and friendly atmosphere. We really appreciated the time the owner took to walk us through what was fresh on the day and to make sure we were comfortable. Read moreI recently traveled with my friend Christopher in Tarquinia, Italy for the first time. We decided to go out for dinner one night and found this great restaurant. We had eggplant parmesian, fried potatoes, chicken and lasagna for dinner. Everything was deliciously prepared by the great Chef Marie. The service we received from Frank was fantastic. He explained every dish and gave us very specific details. If I get to travel to Tarquinia again in the near future, I will, for sure, go there again. Seguono la stagionalità dei prodotti,la cucina è quella di casa,pollo alla cacciatora (vero pollo) ,polpette della nonna,ampia scelta di contorni e non le solite patate al forno ,troverai melanzane in tutti i modi,cipolle,peperoni,cicoria,verdure ripiene ,insomma se non cercate solo carne e siete vegetariani avete di cose da provare. Farine usate per la pizza buone..è quando la pizza come in questo caso è buona puoi mangiarne in abbondanza,ti alzi dalla tavola senza sentirti appesantita o peggio con la quella spiacevole sensazione cge ti stia lievitano nello stomaco. Le ragazze ai tavoli sono veloci,educate cortesi..curano il clienti e danno a ciascuno l'attenzione necessaria per un pranzo o una cena in santa pace. Dolci:fatti in casa...come il limoncello.
