I went for diner with my friend and all I can say is WOW! As you arrive you are greeted by professional staff, the restaurant is designed with attention to detail and the decor is tasteful, the temperature is comfortable. The sommelier adviced us on a good bottle of Sicilian wine and we adored it. As soon as we seated they brought us a "welcome taster" which included three types of home made breads (some with nuts, olives, fennel), bread sticks, some crudités, some sparkling wine, a taster of carpaccio! We then tasted their delicious and innovative Meat Sushi which was delicious (if you enjoy things like tartare then this is for you). We then decided on a burger and french fries and we're not disappointed, the chips were cooked perfectly, not oily and crispy like I enjoy them. I am a burger fanatic and I'd say this one definitely passed the test. Overall the bill was not as high considering the entire experience and everything we ordered. We left with our tummies full and feeling very content. They even gave us a mini chocolate dessert as a gift which was so cute, creamy and delicious. I will definitely be back to try all the other things on the menu. In the summer I will definitely order they Carpaccio di Vitello which I loved from the taster,...
Read moreWe walked past a butcher shop with some great looking dark aged beef hanging in the window. We went in to see what local restaurants they supply the aged beef to, so we could go there for dinner later that evening. They advised it was this restaurant so we went for dinner. We ordered the 1kg bone in steak to share. It looked like a huge tomahawk steak, but was well aged. It was great, and was prepared very quickly given the size and thickness of the steak. Served on a cast iron hotplate so we could further cook our steak to whatever level we prefer. I don't think many people order this as they were taking photos of the platter right up until it was delivered to our table. It was flavorful and a great dish if you are craving steak after touring the coast of Sicily and want a break from seafood!...
Read moreThe service here was very good and the food was excellent. However, we had an unexpected issue with the wine. We ordered a bottle of white wine from the menu, the waiter brought it to us, and we enjoyed it. To our surprise, when the bill arrived, the wine was listed at €25. After checking the menu, we saw the most expensive bottle listed was €22. When we questioned this, the waiter seemed offended and asked if we were aware of the wine we were drinking. As someone with little knowledge about wine, I didn’t realize there was a different bottle being served, and the fact that the €25 bottle wasn’t on the menu made the situation frustrating. Overall, it was a good experience, but this place is a bit overpriced compared to other amazing spots in Terrasini, so definitely check prices...
