We visited Pier Restaurant with high expectations—it does have that touristy appeal—but unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it. I ordered a carbonara, but no cutlery was brought. When I went inside to ask, I was told to wait, only to watch the waitress continue serving other tables while my pasta sat cooling. As anyone knows, cold carbonara turns into a salty, clumpy mess—and it certainly did. My partner's sandwich, requested without lettuce due to dietary restrictions, arrived with it anyway. Still no cutlery, so he had to get up and ask again—twice. Our Coke Zero also took a small drama to appear, and when it finally did, it was the wrong one. The waitress had a habit of saying, “Yes, I’ll bring it,” only for 7–10 minutes to pass with nothing arriving. Amusingly, they still charged us €2 each for service—which I wouldn’t have minded, had there actually been any. The owner did offer a €5 refund, assuming we wanted the money back, but frankly, that wasn’t the issue. If you're going to charge for service, it ought to exist. We considered dessert, but after that experience, we decided against giving them another chance. Oh—and they attempted to charge for a bottle of water we never received. What they seem unaware of is that European tourists tend to rely heavily on Google reviews. Yes, we ate—well, I left most of the carbonara, since even the bacon was...
Read moreUnprofessional service. The waitress is clumsy. The dishes are not the cleanest. The sparkling water we ordered was not cold at 30+ degrees. The coffee arrived served as in the picture. Tiramisu arrived half frozen. We waited over 15 minutes for the coffee and cake service.

Apart from the bad service, you are also rude. If there was a zero as a grade, be sure that you would get it. It's a shame if someone brings you spilled coffee. Instead of respecting other people's comments and improving the service, you argue with the guests. By the way, we were the only guests in the restaurant in the afternoon, so you can't justify waiting so long for the order. You have so many good bars nearby where you can learn how to do business well. The advice for tourists is to go to another place where they will spend their money and be satisfied at the...
