Osteria Mom — Restaurant in Tivoli

The food was good, but the service was an absolute disaster. After waiting over an hour, only half of our table was served, and the rest received their food 15 minutes later. When we tried to speak to the staff, the manager literally covered her face and turned away to avoid us — completely unprofessional.

The only positive part of the service was one kind waitress who treated us with respect and clearly wasn’t at fault. The restaurant was clearly overbooked — they filled it beyond what they could handle, and instead of apologizing for the chaos, they acted as if it was our problem.

It’s a real shame because the food deserves better than the people running this place. They need to learn how to manage service and treat customers properly.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

We arrived as a party of 2 without reservation late on a Saturday night and were quickly accommodated despite them being extremely busy.

The wine list is extensive and even when they didn’t have the bottle we wanted they followed up with multiple suggestions matching the original price.

We had the Mare Mom Antipasti Platter and it was divine.

The pasta dishes were bigger portions than what most restaurants provide and extremely delicious.

We ordered a Carbonara and a Tagliatelle with Truffle and Sausage, both mouth wateringly good.

Admittedly we over did it with our ordering and went for a 3rd course. We ordered the fried calamari and seared tuna with pistachios. Both were good but we couldn’t enjoy them fully due to already being so full. The tuna was slightly over cooked but...

The taste of the food was even more than my expectations. I had the seafood caserole(zuppa pische), and my boyfriend had the carbonara of his life!!! We are food lovers, and how was 10/10! The melon(im the melon procchioti starter) was one of the best had ever in central and south Europe. The service nice was efficient and kind, profesional but not too cold posh of reserved.
