Trabocco Valle Grotte — Restaurant in undefined

L'esperienza in questo trabocco è stata particolare e questo ha influenzato il nostro giudizio in negativo, ma può darsi che ad altri possa andare meglio. Abbiamo deciso di pranzare nel trabocco mentre eravamo al mare nella spiaggia attigua. Con la prospettiva di tornare in spiaggia quanto prima, al momento di prenotare e SOLO PERCHÉ CI È STATO CHIESTO, abbiamo scelto il menù ridotto e abbiamo fissato per le ore 13. Poi all'arrivo ci hanno detto che c'era stato un errore e quel giorno non erano previsti menù ridotti, ma poiché l'errore era stato loro, avrebbero comunque soddisfatto la nostra prenotazione come previsto. Ci è stato servito un ottimo e ricco antipasto, poi è iniziata un'attesa biblica, tra le molte scuse degli addetti ai lavori, che hanno anche tentato di intrattenerci in vario modo, spiegandoci che per ragioni organizzative della cucina, avremmo dovuto attendere che servissero i primi quando anche il resto della sala sarebbe stato servito, attendendo che gli altri mangiassero quanto era previsto per loro, del menù completo, nel frattempo. Morale : non siamo tornati in spiaggia presto, come ci eravamo proposti, abbiamo atteso a lungo sempre più nervosi e bloccati a tavola. Il primo, fisso come l'antipasto, purtroppo l'avevamo mangiato la sera prima in un altro ristorante e non siamo stati felici di replicare. A quanto previsto dal menù abbiamo aggiunto un dessert e un caffè. Per il menù ridotto era prevista una spesa di 30 euro a testa, ma noi abbiamo speso invece 90 euro in tutto. Insomma, per noi è stata un'esperienza da non ripetere e che non ci ha gratificato, nonostante i buoni piatti e la cortesia del personale, che però ad un certo punto ci è sembrata un po' quasi una presa in giro. Il trabocco è molto pittoresco, caratteristico e d'atmosfera, tutte cose positive, se non siete però troppo stizziti per apprezzare sul serio. Non ottimale il rapporto...

A beautiful place, well maintained and with a good service. However the price/quality ratio has been not worth it. 50 euro per person for a fixed menu (wine excluded). All the food has been pre-prepared and warmed up. I would much prefer to order a first and/or second course prepaded on the spot and pay a full price for it, instead of having 2 appetizers with 5 varieties each, the first course, the second course, the frittura and deserts that I'm still digesting at 11 p.m., when we'd been to the place for lunch. It's a pity, as with a bit different approach to the kitchen the place would definitely...

We had a fantastic time!--the food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing--and of excellent value. The staff were exceptionally attentive and gracious with our inability to speak Italian. Sunday lunch service is dinner menu; a complete meal! Our set menu consisted of a glass of sparkling wine, a plate of diverse seafood appetizers, squid pasta, octopus with peas, and a beautiful portion of sea bass; with coffee and cake to follow.
