A beautiful and brilliant restaurant.
This is a tastefully decorated room and outdoor area, serviced with skill and enthusiasm by the owner and his small team.
They are knowledgable about their products and proud of what they serve. We were positioned close to the kitchen and the chef was close enough to speak to (when he wasn’t too busy!). Friendly and humble was the manner of all of the staff.
The tasting of olive oils (one naturale and one with lemon) when they served the bread was a fantastic moment and displayed the obvious pride they have in the produce that they serve. The same can be said for the desserts which were made off-site by a former employee who has won many awards.
We laughed and joked with the owner and the staff, and truly felt like we were the most important people in the room, despite the fact it was full - I imagine every customer would say the same thing.
I would recommend Mānima to everyone and we are hoping to return to Trani again soon and revisit.
One last thing must be said: Nina è la cagnolina più bella!
Thank you Mānima, we hope to see...
Read moreWas searching for fish restaurant around me from Corato and this guys popped out in Trani for being the best on Crudo Di Mare and much more, so I thought let’s give it a go. I’m so glad i then decided to visit them this evening. Arrived there early for Italian probably, they have just open at 19:30 and I find a good welcome and service from Emanuele who was nice/welcoming and prepared on explaining the all menu and wine choices. I went for my selection of Crudo Di Mare 🦪but they had much more, and it was delicious/fresh/sea tasting. Lovely and succulent pasta 🦐. For then finish with a unique dessert 🥮. What to say definitely worth it the trip and will definitely go back when back in Puglia. Highly recommended. Thank you to all the...
Read moreI’m less enthusiastic about this restaurant after spending couple of days in Trani and having excelent food experience. I had Musciscka of Podolica Cow, which was extremely salty, I was not able to finish the meal as side dish was similarly salty. Wine was served without offering me to taste and it was warm (it was recommended local rose wine, which was not bad if would be a little chiller). My wife had Riso, Patate e cozze which disappointed as rise was tasteless and mussels were full of oil. From entire plate she was able to eat only mussels, the rest was left in the plate. Even our plates were not empty at the end we were not asked about feedback. For us this place is overrated and is clasic trap...
