Peschef — Restaurant in Trani

We stopped by Peschef in Trani on a hot day, and it turned out to be a bit of a mixed experience. The good news is that the service was nice and we were lucky enough to grab a table with a great breeze, which was a huge relief from the heat.

As for the food, the menu had some fantastic highlights and a few misses. The paninis were absolutely great—fresh, flavorful, and a perfect choice for a casual lunch. However, we also tried a couple of their poke bowls, and we found them to be quite expensive and, unfortunately, not really worth it. While they had a special with salmon and tuna, the pokes just didn't live up to the price tag.

So, while Peschef offers a great atmosphere and some really delicious paninis, it seems like you have to be careful with your order. It’s a wonderful spot to grab a simple and tasty lunch and enjoy the nice breeze, just be mindful of the more expensive items...

Mediocre food and bad service. We visited the restaurant as a group of nine. The first of us got food after 20 minutes, after 40 minutes we got food for other two people. After we had waited an hour we asked for our food and the waiters replied in a rude tone that the food was on its way. After waiting other 10 minutes we asked again and were told to just wait. After waiting other 5 minutes we asked again and were told that the food was ready and we could just bring it to our table. Other guests had ordered the same food and got it after a few minutes. So the issue was not that the restaurant was too busy. They had just forgotten the orders and then refused to acknowledge the mistake and help us. The food was ok/mediocre. Io non posso credere alle recensioni negative che ci sono per questo locale. Di recente si è ampliato e dall'apertura ho trovato notevoli miglioramenti come è giusto che sia. Il locale è sul porto ed è raggiungibile esclusivamente a piedi. È accessibile ai disabili. Il servizio è veloce ovviamente quando c'è gente è fisiologico aspettare un pó... Non capisco le pretese. Nel locale funziona cosi: prendi il menu scegli e paghi direttamente in cassa dopodiché puoi scegliere di accomodati nella sala interna ai tavolini fuori o di fronte ai tavolini che affacciano direttamente sul porto. Ti portano tutto in base al nominativo dato in cassa. Oppure si può richiedere tutto in casa e poter scegliere l'opzione d'asporto. Buono il menu perché offre insalate panini antipasti e diversi vini prosecco e birra. Ottima la divisione dei panini per pesce cotto e crudo e la possibilità di scelta vegana. Ho provato il panino al gambero e anche al pesce spada e sono squisiti . I prodotti sono freschi, panino croccante e riempito al punto giusto tanto da saziarsi ma non lasciare la sensazione di pienezza e noia nel mangiarlo per cui vale il prezzo del menù. Per un panino ben condito e con prodotti di mare freschi si spende di più inoltre i prezzi in listino sono onesti perché conformi a quelli di altri che fanno panini di mare o piatti. L'interno è arredato con stile minimal chich... Essenziale, pulito luminoso per i colori utilizzati ed elegante allo stesso tempo. Il personale gentile e disponibile rende l'ambiente informale e ti fa sentire a tuo agio. Grazie per il buon pranzo domenicale e per l'ottimo tempo passato. Ve lo consiglio e ci ritorno! Consiglio al peesonale di mettere un simbolo ai tavolini che sono proprio sul porto perché non sono subito distinguibili dagli altri... Noi insieme ad altri abbiamo chiesto e li abbiamo identificati del logo delle scatole dei panini che stavano mangiando e da un ragazzo del personale che stava...
