We walked by this quiet restaurant a few times. Finally we decided to give it a chance and we stopped in for lunch (twice). OMG! Sooo good. Like most places in Italian small towns, the restaurant is owned and operated by a local family. Luigi (owner/chef) and his wife work the restaurant daily. The food is truly delicious and made fresh when you order it. Prices very reasonable. Bonus: Ask Luigi to sing for you. He is lovable. Highly recommended!

We were wandering around Trani trying to decide where to have lunch. A few streets away from the waterfront we stumbled on this little husband and wife run taverna. What a wonderful lunch - honest, quality food cooked with fresh ingredients and love. The marinated alici, seafood spaghetti and pasta with pancetta and zucchine were outstanding. It was such a pleasure to chat to Luigi, the chef and his lovely wife. Grazie Mille!!

Very friendly and welcoming owners! Amazing food on a hand written menu available in italian, english and german. "eggplant cake" was like a special lasagna and everything else tasted formidable as well. Ambiente is special and maybe not to everyones liking but definitively worth a visit!

We found this little gem last night and returned once again tonight. The food was sooooo homely and delicious. The seafood spaghetti was one of the best I’ve ever had and the veal schnitzel was so tender and tasty. I also loved the house red wine that went down a treat. Lovely couple who run this restaurant it shows they love their food and chef comes out to check that all is in order. Would thoroughly recommended if want an authentic...
