Of all the restaurants I visited in Sicily during the year, only this one serves exceptionally bad food. The meals I ordered were hard, underseasoned, tasted the same. The so-called "seafood" made me nauseous. Even McDonalds and KFC serve better food. To sum up, everything tasted like fried frozen food. When I informed the waiter about the quality after trying the food, and that I could only pay water, two people from the staff told me that they would call the police to deal with the matter. They threatened me with the police twice! It ended with me having to pay more than half of the bill. In my opinion, these people are frauds and swindlers. I almost forgot, they gave me an empty bottle of olive oil, first gave me bread and then took it away, and the waiters were only busy talking to each other. I definitely do not...

From freezer bag to fried 🤩 I usually don’t like to leave a bad review of a small business but… Please don’t go here if you are a tourist, locals know better. It plays trashy American songs, serves subpar food (you'd think Sicily would only have amazing food, this proves me wrong), and while the people were friendly enough it wasn’t enough to make up for the price versus quality of food. Sono rimasto molto deluso dalla mia recente cena in questo ristorante. Avevo grandi aspettative, ma purtroppo sono state tradite.

La prima delusione è arrivata con la zuppa di cozze. Non appena l'ho annusata, ho subito percepito un odore sgradevole e intenso, decisamente lontano dal profumo fresco e invitante che mi aspettavo da un piatto a base di mare. Abbiamo immediatamente segnalato il problema al cameriere, il quale si è scusato più volte attribuendo l'odore alla provenienza spagnola delle cozze. Questa giustificazione, però, non è stata convincente in quanto l'odore di pesce fresco non dovrebbe variare significativamente in base alla provenienza, soprattutto se il prodotto è stato correttamente conservato e trattato.

Come gesto di cortesia, mi ha offerto un altro piatto. Ho optato per le busiate alla triglia, ma anche in questo caso sono rimasto insoddisfatto. Il piatto mancava completamente di sapore, risultando insipido e necessitando di abbondante sale per renderlo minimamente gustoso. Ho trovato strano che un piatto di pesce fresco avesse bisogno di così tanto sale aggiunto, suggerendo una preparazione poco curata o l'utilizzo di ingredienti di scarsa qualità.

A onor del vero, il cameriere è stato cortese e disponibile, offrendomi un'alternativa e scusandosi per l'accaduto. Tuttavia, la qualità del cibo non è stata all'altezza delle mie aspettative. Mi aspettavo un'esperienza culinaria più coinvolgente, con piatti che esaltassero i sapori del mare e la freschezza degli ingredienti.

L'odore sgradevole delle cozze e la necessità di aggiungere sale alle busiate suggeriscono un problema di freschezza o una conservazione non corretta degli ingredienti. Prima di servire un piatto, è fondamentale assicurarsi che gli ingredienti siano di alta qualità e freschi.
