This was the best meal we had in a 3 week trip through Puglia and south Italy. Real old school Italian kitchen. So many ‘secret’ famous restaurants we went to promised local produce and high quality but were mediocre. Francesco & Laura are the real thing. We got there by sheer accident. This was the real Italian experience I remember from my childhood. A family welcoming you to eat the best home cooked local high quality produce. They make everything themselves from the pasta to the goat cheese. And their 10 year old daughter Donatella helps out with online payment. Francesco’s enthusiasm was so warm and unique and Laura’s cooking so good, Do not miss out...

5 stelle non bastano per votare questo ristorante... io e il mio compagno in vacanza a Capaccio.. dopo aver girato sagre feste e quant'altro c'è di bello in questi luoghi meravigliosi volevamo una cenetta tranquilla a due... cerco nel web e trovo questo ristorantino con ottime recensioni... ci fidiamo... arrivati veniamo accolti dal signor Francesco ... senza nemmeno guardare il menù ci fidiamo delle sue proposte culinarie.. iniziamo con un antipasto che dire buono è poco...sembrava di vedere un mago che quando meno te lo aspetti estrae assaggini dal suo cappello magico..... non finiva mai... una vera sorpresa e una goduria per il palato... il signor Francesco ci spiega che ciò che assaporiamo sono tutti prodotti caserecci e fatti da loro.... passiamo a una grigliata infinita con contorno di patatine accompagnata da una focaccia morbidissima e gustosa..sapori e profumi che non assaggiavo da tempo... per finire un sorbetto alle fragole con lambrusco... da assaggiare...cosi come da assaggiare il liquore al cioccolato e peperoncino fatto dalla moglie (cuoca del ristorante) La ciliegina sulla torta è stato il conto... non credevamo ai nostri occhi..mangiato bene... tanto ....e speso pochissimo..... Caro signor Francesco noi ringraziamo tutti... non solo per la cucina ma anche per l'ospitalità la gentilezza e la cordialità con cui siamo stati accolti... lei è davvero un bel personaggio... e posso dire che il suo lavoro lo sa fare molto bene... se mai torneremo da quelle parti torneremo con piacere a trovarla... The best food we ate in Cilento, homemade and made with lots of love. The highlight is the special and personal service at the place. This is a family restaurant, everything is prepared on site and every day there is a different menu. good prices We ate almost the entire menu and would have been happy to stay a few more days to continue visiting and eating there.
