All'Antico Pallone — Restaurant in Treviso

Menu board out front lists the meals they serve, but when inside we are told it’s snacks only. Waiter gives me an eye-roll when I say I’m not yet ready to order. Nice start.

A younger waiter is sent to take our order and he is perfectly pleasant.

We sit while dance music blares wondering what we are doing here. It seems totally incongruous with the setting.

Once the order of snacks arrive, they are ordinary to say the least. An arancini ball that is stone cold in the middle, and an assortment of tasteless items (also cold in the middle) that we leave half nibbled.

Hi, I visited this restaurant yesterday with my girlfriend. We choose 2 meals from the daily menu but they didn't have any of them. They offered that instead of it they will prepare for us vegetable lasagne and some pasta. The portion was really small and the taste was nothing spectacular. We also bought two beers. We ended paying 32 euros for this, which mean that they charged for the substitute food even more then for original. I don't recommend to eat there. Maybe they just charged us more because they knew, we are tourists. Only positive things were pleasurable service, nice surroundings...

Do not eat here, they have the worst pasta there is. I ordered the orecchiette with broccoli and anchovies. Had I known they use ready-made food, I would have run like hell. But they took the casserole out of the fridge and brought the dish overheated in the microwave, soaking in oil. There was almost no broccoli and the anchovies were missing completely. I must say I don’t remember the last time I was served something as gross as that. I don’t understand...
