Farmacia Balboa isn’t just a bar, it’s a fever dream of fabulousness. Picture this: golden hour, a breeze in your hair, a drink in your hand so perfectly balanced it could be used to calibrate scientific instruments. It’s that good.

Now, I’m usually a beer kind of person. The cold, foamy, don’t-mess-with-it type. But here? Here, I betray my beer loyalties and dive headfirst into cocktails like a giddy tourist in July (which, to be honest, I am). Because this is the only place where I trust the drinks more than my instincts, and I’m never wrong to do so.

The setting? Ridiculously gorgeous. The ambiance is so good it feels like someone designed the sunset over the piazza. You walk in and suddenly you’re cooler, smoother, and vaguely convinced you should own linen trousers. If you can’t relax here, you might be clinically unrelaxable.

BUT. (Here comes the heartbreak.)

Where… are… the pittule?

They used to be on the menu. Light, fried clouds of joy. Now? Gone. Vanished. Replaced by snack food that leans a little too “Michelin star on a toothpick.” Tasty, sure, but hard to share, hard to pick up, and honestly, I’m not here to fight an art installation just to get a nibble. Bring back the pittule and I’ll write you a sonnet.

Still, epic drinks, a perfect vibe, and a view that deserves its own passport. A place you’ll want to return to again and again. And again. Possibly even if the pittule never come back (but please…...
