Bar Vittoria Trieste — Restaurant in Trieste

There are a lot of good neighborhood bars in Trieste, but this one is my favorite.

It’s been around for almost 50 years and is surrounded by both residences and workplaces: considering this and the fact that they are open every day of the week from early in the morning to later at night, you will always find it busy.

It has a big bar, a corner where you can bet on sports, a separate “bar room” with a TV and a dining area. They also have some small tables outside, but they are very few and it may be difficult to find a free one.

You can stop here for a coffee, or for a glass of wine, or after-lunch-liquor or cocktail. They have a wide variety of pastry and panini or similar (like the Italian tramezzini, toast, etc) but they also offer full lunches and salads.

We have tried everything but the lunches, and there is absolutely nothing I didn’t like; plus, the staff is always very friendly.

Bar che mi è stato consigliato da entrambi i miei genitori, infatti con loro ho avuto un servizio impeccabile con anche il personale molto gentile. Ci torno con il mio ragazzo. Dopo essermi seduta al tavolo fuori mi accorgo che non arrivava il personale a chiedere se volessi ordinare quindi mi dirigo al banco chiedendo se potessi avere due caffè ed un krapfen al tavolo fuori. la risposta è stata " ti preparo due caffè e poi li porti fuori". Mi dispiace per la signora che normalmente si occupa della cassa/tabacchi veramente gentile, il collega è molto scortese. Metto 3 stelle solo per la signora...
