Nestled in the heart of Trieste, Eataly embodies the essence of Italian gastronomy, offering patrons an unforgettable culinary journey through the flavors of the Mediterranean. From the moment you step through its doors, you are greeted by a symphony of aromas and a feast for the senses. One cannot help but be enchanted by the vibrant ambiance of Eataly, where rustic charm meets modern elegance. The warm, inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unparalleled dining experience, where every dish tells a story of tradition and craftsmanship. At Eataly, the small fish tapas steal the spotlight with their exquisite flavors and impeccable presentation. Each bite is a celebration of the sea, bursting with freshness and vitality. From delicate anchovies to succulent sardines, every morsel is a testament to the bounty of Italy's coastal waters.Accompanying these delectable tapas is a wine selection that is nothing short of enchanting. With an extensive array of Italian wines to choose from, ranging from crisp whites to full-bodied reds, Eataly offers the perfect pairing for every palate. Sip on a glass of Prosecco as you savor the briny goodness of the tapas, or indulge in a velvety Chianti to complement their rich flavors. But Eataly is more than just a restaurant—it is a celebration of all things Italian. From the bustling marketplace, where shelves are stocked with artisanal cheeses, freshly baked breads, and aromatic olive oils, to the bustling trattoria, where chefs whip up authentic dishes with passion and flair, every corner of Eataly exudes the magic of Italy. In conclusion, Eataly Trieste is a culinary gem that transports diners to the sun-kissed shores of the Mediterranean with every bite. With its exquisite small fish tapas, enchanting wine selection, and unmistakable Italian charm, it offers a dining experience that is nothing short of magical....

Disappointing Experience Despite Beautiful Views – Not Recommended Visited on May 4th. While the food was genuinely delicious and the view from the terrace over the sea and harbor is absolutely stunning, the overall experience was completely ruined by the terrible service. The staff seemed indifferent and unprofessional. We were served dirty glasses and plates – some had lipstick marks and food residue still stuck to them. When we politely asked for a clean glass, the waiter simply wiped the rim and brought it back to us as if that solved the problem. Only after we insisted again was the glass actually replaced, and even then, we received no apology or acknowledgment of the issue. To make things worse, the manager defended the use of visibly dirty dishes, claiming it was “normal.” That response was not only unacceptable but also deeply disappointing for a place that positions itself as high-quality. The location itself is fantastic, and the view is perhaps the only redeeming factor. However, the restaurant shares a single public restroom with the entire two-story store, and there's only one stall available. We had to wait in line behind 5–7 people — highly impractical for a busy venue. In summary: Great food and location, but the shocking lack of hygiene and customer care makes it impossible to recommend this place. A...

The service does not match the prices. You can wait a while before being served. Very understaffed for this time of year when they know it will be very busy. Not acceptable given the volume of customers. The servers could care less if and when you are served. The food was just okay, but not outstanding. Illy espresso was wxcellent. The gelato was good. When they run out of an item that is premade in the case before 10:00am, they won't make it for you. My question would be then why feature menu items you don't have or won't make? The brand is not operated the same way in other countries. I do not understand why this location is operated in this manner. Parking is great, if you arrive early in the am. You can park in the garage or in the open lot next to the building. If you park in the lot, be prepared you maybe accosted by someone seeking to be paid for directing you to an empty space. When the person approaches for money it is not in a friendly manner. This is an issue the city should address before there is an incident. There is a payment kiosk on the lot to pay your bilet...

It is not a restaurant with many choices nor a fast food chain. Is something in the middle with super selected food and materials but the offer is standardized to satisfy every appetite. There is a research of ingredients and dishes but not in the sense of something far from normal as pairing different tastes. The place dominate the touristic harbour, is in the city center and you enter from the supermarket... A mix of autogrill and previous restaurant. The towels are pulp paper but glasses are crystal. Many will like it, i personally don't. The group misto was delicious and Ferrari perlé perfect companion, illy coffee a must at the end (with a cannolo siciliano...).

I’m giving this a four star because of the rude guy on the coffee bar, tall chap, didn’t speak much English, that’s fine, we were in Italy, I speak Italian but he didn’t want to know, just asked his colleague to help after saying he didn’t understand. Everything else was perfect, particularly the guys in the little restaurant, perhaps they need to train the rude coffee bar chap. Shame I didn’t get his name. However, hats off to the great food in the little restaurant. We also had a bit to eat in the main area and this was fine too with polite service. Shame that one guy can let the team down.
