I don't understand those negative opinions... the food is amazing and everything is fresh. Maybe you need to wait a bit for a food (I didn't feel it) but it's not a McDonald's so never expect that it will be super fast... We ate mix of the sea food and it was only amazing, we also ate tiramisu for a desert and it was also amazing... I ate a looot of good food in my life and this restaurant I recommend to check for sure! I will come back next year:)

One of the best seafood restaurants in the world! We dined here three times this week. We thus tried many items from the menu. Every single item was perfect! The salt crusted trout was one of a kind, no one can match the way it is served here. The fish melted in the mouth. So delicious! All the people working here, including chefs and waiters, are polite, smiling, happy and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all of you!

Overpriced dishes and very small portions. We paid 22€ per person for a small piace of baked salmon and we also been charged for service 3€ even if the staff was quite useless and absent all the time (we waited 20 minutes to ask for a bottle of water). Please avoid this place as it is too much expensive with low quality service and small portion. Almost a fraud.

One of the best seafood restaurants in the world! We dined here three times this week. We thus tried many items from the menu. Every single item was perfect! The salt crusted trout was one of a kind, no one can match the way it is served here. The fish melted in the mouth. So delicious! BIG NO!

The owner was really primitive, he hurted our family so much we left the restaurant and had our family dinner in another place.

We reserved for 9 person and one of us was not able to be present. We wanted to have a good dinner for 8 person and he asked me where is the 9th person twice. I told him that we are 8 and he's reaction "I loosing 500 € now because I gave you a table for 9 person and one is not here".

First of all it's not the right behaviour, second I don't care about how much money he make. Not our business. Don't tell this to your clients.

We were with two kids and they wanted the spaghetti without shells but of course we wanted to pay the same for the food just with less ingredients. And he told us: "this is a fish restaurant if you don't want fish you shouldn't eat here. Zero flexibility, arrogant, the restaurant looks all right but not really elegant.

He isn't the kind of restaurant owner who would give you a good impression about Italy because for him this restaurant is just a money maker.

Actually we wanted to spend a lot of money and drinking the best wine they have but he don't deserve our money. He deserve honest review, avoid...

Premetto che la recensione e il punteggio non vogliono essere distruttivi e denigratori, bensì costruttivi affinché la struttura possa migliorare. Mi sono recato ieri a pranzo in questo ristorante situato a Miramare, proprio di fronte all'Adriatico e a poche centinaia di metri dall'omonimo castello. La location è semplice ma davvero bella: una terrazza panoramica sul mare dov'è possibile mangiare al fresco del vento. Prenoto con largo anticipo per due persone. Ciò nonostante, dopo essere arrivati, dobbiamo aspettare che si liberi un tavolo e che lo stesso venga preparato per farci accomodare. Capisco il flusso di clienti, ma è buona regola ristorativa che non si faccia mai aspettare un cliente che ha prenotato; piuttosto non si accettano clienti senza prenotazione, se questi vanno ad occupare uno spazio riservato. Morale della favola: mezz'ora per farci accomodare e prendere le ordinazioni. Seconda nota dolente, i tempi di attesa per il servizio. Dopo un'ora, infatti, non abbiamo ricevuto né i primi ordinati, né ovviamente i secondi. Sollecitiamo e, dopo altri dieci minuti, arrivano i due spaghetti alle alici e mollica di pane: decisamente troppo per realizzare due porzioni di pasta espressa. A quel punto, in grande ritardo per la visita prenotata al Castello di Miramare, chiediamo che non venga fatta partire la cottura dei secondi, due pesci ai ferri. La cameriera si informa e riferisce che i due secondi sono già in cottura. Faccio il cuoco e so bene come funziona la gestione delle comande: una portata che segue un'altra viene fatta marciare soltanto quando il cliente sta finendo il piatto precedente, specialmente se si tratta di un piatto espresso come può essere un pesce ai ferri. Se quanto riportato fosse stato vero, considerato che abbiamo impiegato circa dieci minuti a mangiare il primo piatto, sgombro e orata sarebbero arrivati carbonizzati. Nonostante ciò, sono stati comunque abbastanza veloci e abbiamo accettato di mangiare anche i secondi. Tutto questo è un vero peccato, perché i piatti sono studiati e ben realizzati e un servizio del genere non rende onore alla grande qualità della cucina. Come detto precedentemente, ho lavorato e lavoro nella ristorazione - da locali stellati a locali tradizionali - e frasi come "oggi c'è tanta gente" non devono né possono essere usate come scusa. Devo comunque segnalare con piacere che ci è stato fatto un piccolo sconto e ci sono stati offerti i due caffè a fine pranzo, il che dimostra comunque la voglia di dimostrare al cliente che ammettono l'errore e si impegnano per tentare di alleviarlo. Considero l'esperienza insufficiente ma sarei pronto a tornare a La Terrazza, perché so cosa vuol dire lavorare in questo settore e una seconda possibilità non si...

Twelve minutes per pasta, the waiter explained, with the gravity of a surgeon delivering bad news, except by the time she brought this wisdom to our table, an hour had already gone by. Twelve minutes! By then the arithmetic had lost all meaning. The pasta, those innocent strands, arrived demoted, reduced, no longer the centerpiece of appetite but an afterthought, a perfunctory sweet, a consolation prize.
