Nice place to dine for all but in particular who work at Elettra. The village of Bazovissa is last Italian settlement at border with Slovenia. Being part of EU this border is open border though there are frequent police patrols to check the flow of illegal immigrants coming through infamous Balkan route. Homey cooking with lovely service. Got the gnocchi with goulash and its some of the softest, pillow like gnocchi ive ever has. The goulas is so tender that you dont even need a knife.
