We went there for a lunch in a group of 17 people. This review is based on my personal experience not them. In the beginning I must say that the service, timing and general quality is really good in this place considering the fact that we were there in 17 at the weekend which the place was packed with people. The style of the pizza was something by their own (not neapolitan, roman, etc.). The dough was leavened using sourdough which makes it tastier. I thought at first the dough would be tough but it was not. I ordered a pizza called Monte bianche which had mozzarella, stracchino and pesto alla genovese. The only complain from me was the amount of pesto which I can barely tasted it on pizza. I've orderd a beer, an American pale ale, which has tropical notes but the the price was too expensive (8.5€ for 50cl). I had beers with better or at least the same level of quality with less price tags in several places. They also served the beer with a plastic glass which for a 8.5€ beer and a place with 1.5€ of table service. I find this thing extremely bothering. In general, the experience was good but not amazing enough to make this place my...

After a really bad day full of small accidents, train cancellations and bus delays, went here after work for a pizza but arrived just 10 minutes prior to the closing time. So no scope for pizza.
However the couple suggested and served
farinata di ceci with pepper - like a bread base made with ceci ( chickpeas ), which are crusty on the edges and soft elsewhere.
Facaccia - topped with fresh tomatoes, cheese and rucuola as those were the only options left when I didn't want to eat only the focaccia bread.
Bomboloni - doughnuts fillied with pastry cream ( which tasted like custard but the chef said it's " panne " and something else in Italian which I couldn't get - will update later ) , topped with same pastry cream and sugar dust. Amazing it was.
Gazzosa - milder version of sprite.
Thank you for the amazing service & hospitality 🙏

Read moreI've studied in Turin from 2009 to 2014. I discovered this pizzeria few weeks after I arrived in Turin and, since that day, for 5 years, I was eating pizza in "A Casa di Pulcinella" 2-3 times/week!
After I left Turin, I never had the occasion to come back, but I always missed the pizza as for me it was the BEST Pizza in the world.
Today I finally went back, after trying sooo many different pizzas all over the world during these 8 years. So I was really curious to try it again.
And I have to say... The pizza of "A Casa di Pulcinella" is still the BEST Pizza in the world!!
If you have never been there, you definitely must go! Try burrata pizza and the desserts and it'll become the best addiction ever.
Plus, the owners, Francesco and Liliana are 2 amazing human beings, you'll love them!
Enjoy the best pizza in...
