Kirin Fusion — Restaurant in Turin

A massive disappointment. Walked in at 11:45am and the first thing the person working there (I hope he wasn't the owner) said to us was 'this isn't a bar', no 'Ciao, hello or welcome', he just looked us up and down and told us that this isn't a bar. We were well aware that this wasn't a bar. Me and my friend had been searching through places in Turin to find somewhere nice to eat and after reading the reviews for Kirin, we were excited to eat there. But we felt the guy there was very rude to us and I think he presumed that we were only looking for a place to drink because we were British? Either way, we were made to feel very uncomfortable, it was clear that for whatever reason he didn't want us there.

We proceeded to tell him that we wanted to eat, not to drink and he told us that he wasn't open for food. We asked when he opened and he said 12:30 in the afternoon (despite it saying on Google 11:30am and him having tables and chairs outside and the door wide open).

Very poor experience, again it was a massive shame as we were genuinely excited to eat there. After reading some more of the reviews it does seem that a few others have had the...

Buona esperienza, interessanti proposte non consuete nei Sushi Restaurant AYCE frequentati finora. Locale accogliente e curato, personale garbato e disponibile. Personalmente non ho apprezzato che l'ordine debba essere dettato a voce al cameriere che prende nota su un notes...abituati al tablet o a compilare un modulino, ho trovato questa modalità scomoda perchè bisogna tenere il segno sul menù manualmente man mano che si recitano i piatti da ordinare oppure bisogna segnarseli sul cellulare per non far troppo attendere il cameriere mentre si sfoglia il menù per ripescare i nomi dei piatti...oltre tutto NON sono nemmeno numerati quindi o si sanno pronunciare i nomi letti sul menù oppure si indicano man mano col dito...no good for me! Assortimento non vastissimo ma buona qualità della materia prima. Come in tutti gli altri Sushi Restaurant, mirano a far ingozzare di preparazioni col riso affinchè ci sia poco spazio per il resto (carne/pesce...). Parcheggio a pranzo nei feriali solo a pagamento causa vicinanza mercato ed ospedale...

attenzione alle cene con coupon di groupon, TRUFFA!!! purtroppo sono rimasto molto deluso dall'esperienza che ho avuto al kirin, sono andato con un coupon di groupon che prevedeva una cena con menù per due persone. Ci sono stati serviti però, porzioni per una sola persona, da dividere in due, quando nel coupon era specificato che tutte le porzioni erano A TESTA tranne il sushi che era da dividere per due persone. il coupon prevedeva un dolce a scelta dal menù, altra cosa che non è stata rispettata, ti danno una scelta tra 3 dolci a loro piacimento. stesso discorso per la birra,nel coupon c'è specificato una birra da 33 cl a testa, quando poi ti ritrovi per magia con una sola birra da 33 cl da dividere in due persone! Il personale si è rivelato scortese, facendosi attendere e dando come spiegazione che c'è stato un errore di groupon, e cercando di convincerci che in ogni caso saremmo usciti "pieni" dal ristorante, e per contentino offrono una birra. questa è una truffa, da denuncia, non andrò più al kirin e mi...
