Pizzeria Gelateria Cecchi — Restaurant in Turin

We ended up at Pizzeria & Gelateria Cecchi around 3pm, when most of the other places were already closed. I was pleasantly surprised by both the staff and the food. Since they don’t close in the afternoon, they welcomed us and served us right away. My partner and I ordered two pizze al padellino, which were quite different from what I’ve had elsewhere but absolutely delicious—mine was prosciutto e funghi and his was salamino. Pizza al padellino, farinata e gelato. Questo è quello che offre Cecchi! Poche cose, fatte bene senza mai gridare al miracolo ed un menù ristretto che più ristretto non si può. La farinata è famosa per essere tra le migliori della città (a me non ha detto poi molto... Shhhhh🤫), la pizza al padellino è fatta con cura e gli ingredienti mi son sembrati di qualità. Il locale è "alla buona" con tavoli in legno da Piola e tovaglie in carta, uno stile che a me piace parecchio. Prima di sedersi nelle ore di punta, si fa la fila per rispettare i turni...
