La Birroteca — Restaurant in Turin

We arrived here around 9pm, 5 people and we found a free seat for six, then the waiter asked us if we are here to have dinner, if not, we should go to a table with 4 seats, and add a seat.

Then we waited for half an hour, he came to take the order, we ordered 3 beer 1 water and one French fries, he give us a weird look and a sigh, he told us it is obligatory for everyone to order.

Anyways if you come here to have dinner, it is fine, if you wanna just drink beer and talk with friends, don’t come here.

Anyway the French fries were nice but the service sucks, we’ll never come back again for that weird look...

Cena del 26/10/2023. Locale unico abbastanza ampio, con porticato antistante fruibile nella bella stagione, situato in zona Cenisia; parcheggio piuttosto difficoltoso. Tavoli abbastanza distanziati, a maggior ragione tenendo conto che si tratta di una birreria, posti tavola tali da consentire di consumare le portate comodamente. Noi abbiamo ordinato anelli di cipolla e pollo fritti, olive ascolane, un panino scorbutico, un hamburger sempliciotto ed uno sconcio variazione trasporto (cioè con doppia farcitura), tutto ben realizzato, con la carne umida e la frittura croccante. Per quanto riguarda la carbonara invece non ci siamo proprio: un po’ “stracciata”, al dente ma priva di spinta, poco sapida e, a parer mio, mantecata con poco pecorino. Forse incauto ad ordinarla in una birreria ma se ce l’hai in carta devi saperla fare bene. Ampia disponibilità di birre alla spina (sedici) e in bottiglia. Servizio rapido e cortese. Prezzo corretto. Nice Brewpub with outdoor seating in summer, good selection of craft beers and food. Not easy to find a close parking spot if you're driving, but definitely a choice if you're in this neighborhood. Can be crowded, check for seating before you go or expect to wait a little while on...
