Pizzeria Da Michi dal 1971 — Restaurant in Turin

Really friendly place where food (gluten-free pizza for me) was absolutely delicious! The others in our group ate "normal" kind of food and also they were very satisfied. I, as celiac, ate naturally gluten-free food and I must say that pizza here is really the best you can get in Turin! I had already given up hope of getting pizza that I could actually eat outside the home, but now luckily we found our way here. Where do I begin...My wife is gluten free and so we don't do pizza! This place is like no other though! I couldn't tell the difference in her pizza and mine. The service is second to none...'Fabio' the English speaking waiter was as the name suggests...fabulous! Couldn't do enough for us. Real family feel to this place. And the price doesn't reflect the experience - come here and eat before its too late and they get a Michelin star! I almost don't want to leave an English review because it might dilute the Italian atmosphere of the restaurant. Italy is still alive...

Nightmarish experience: sausage farinata was crunchy, yet burnt at the bottom and bland. Service shockingly rude and lazy: waiter ignored me for a while then was annoyed when I asked explanations on portions sizes (also, they do both deep-pan and standard pizzas but this is not specified on the menu). There were ongoing feuds within the team so they spent most of the time gossiping and chatting, despite having a couple of tables to serve.
