Trattoria Torricelli — Restaurant in Turin

A nice quiet place with excellent food. My wife and I shared an excellent, very large serving of spaghetti and shrimp in a cream sauce. The one dish would have been large enough to satisfy the two of us. But, I had already order veal picatta. Had sherbert for dessert but then saw a tablemate had a fabulous frozen dessert.

This is a family owned business and during this course of our time there, we met the chef and his family.

We had a quiet table for six tucked in a corner and the air conditioning was set just right.

We were served by their sommelier who spoke excellent English and was a great host. He took the time to walk us through the Italian menu and made some great recommendations; he was also a fun guy to talk to who clearly loved his job. Provato più volte nel corso degli anni, sempre con soddisfazione, aggiorno la valutazione rilasciata tempo fa perché ci sono tornato oggi con amici non appena è stato possibile consumare nuovamente un pranzo in modo normale, seduti ai tavoli al coperto.

Mi ero sempre trovato bene in questo ristorante per le materie prime eccellenti e l'ottima realizzazione dei piatti, e in più oggi ho avuto la gradevolissima sorpresa di trovare disponibile un menù a base di funghi, con preparazioni ottime, dai tajarìn con ij bolè, ai funghi panati e fritti a tocchetti, veramente squisiti.

Ambiente come sempre accogliente, nel rispetto totale delle prescrizioni anti-pandemia, e locale "covid free" grazie a tutto il personale vaccinato (come dovrebbe essere obbligatorio almeno per chiunque sia a contatto col pubblico) e il completo rispetto di sanificazione, distanze...
