Calma Ciccia e Pizza — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni della Versilia

We came round last night (Aug 14th) for a quick dinner, the place is cozy, clean and inviting, there are also places to sit outside, however, we opted for the indoor space with the AC. We chose two pizzas from the menue: first one (Napoli with extra spicy salame - aka abroad as pepperoni) it's a 'pizza rossa' meaning it has also the tomato sauce (anchovies, capers, spicy salame). The other one was 'pizza scomposta ' it's a white pizza - 'pizza bianca' -meaning no tomato sauce (ham, cherry tomatoes, olives and mushrooms). In una serata di pioggia senza destinazione ben precisa, abbiamo trovato posto per caso in questo ristorantino a gestione familiare e abbiamo scelto di provarlo. Non avevamo aspettative di alcun tipo, ma appena dato un morso alla pizza il nostro palato ne ha goduto: gli ingredienti si fondevano benissimo tra di loro e se ne percepiva la qualità, che non si dimentica facilmente, così buona quasi da volerne fare il bis, nonostante le porzioni fossero più che abbondanti. La serata è passata piacevolmente concludendo la cena con un dolce della casa anch'esso molto buono e gustoso e scambiando due chiacchere con il gestore nonché pizzaiolo.
