We went there for dinner with our kids. When we asked for a table, the waiter showed us to a nice table but the owner didn't want us there and showed us to the most remote table. It was crystal clear that she didn't want us to did amidst the other guests with our kids - in case they might be too loud or anything. Perfectly understandable from a certain point of view but we didn't feel very welcome. Also we were quite out of sight of the waiters and so everyone else was serviced more often and way faster. Would the food have been really good, that alone would make me never go there again. Unfortunately the menu read well (e.g. prawns in pistachio crust) but the food wasn't. It wasn't bad either but we ate better in any other restaurant we visited during our stay - and for the same or even cheaper prices. Disappointing - don't go there, especially with kids. (If you have to go there, eat the seafood pasta "Carbonara style" - it's the only dish that really surprised us...
Read moreA bad experience from the beginning to the end. To begin, we just wanted to order an appetizer and then check the menu to order the next plates, the waiter told us that we had to order everything at once… Then we asked an other waiter for a glass of wine and he didn’t know which wine we could order for a glass. After that, we wanted a second glass of red wine and asked for the menu. Instead of the menu they brought us two glasses of hot wine that we hadn’t chosen which was really bad for a “vineria”. We complained about that and the waiter told us that it was normal for this wine or that we could add ice inside… The highlight was the check, with a magical “copperto” for 23€ instead of “tordelli” at 13€. Do not go. I’m sorry for the cook who work...
Read moreBad in every way a restaurant can possibly be bad, but the food is worse even than the poor service from staff who all were very rude when receiving our feedback. The tuna tartare was tasteless and dull sitting next to a brush of American ketchup and mayonnaise sauce. The initial flavor was bland, only followed by a salty tang. It was a taste that recalled room-temperature fish from a grocer that lost power. The Grigliata mista di mare was 3 scampi, 2 prawns and a little piece of fish dry, dank and rewarmed yet lubricated by a refried oil. And that was the good part. Beside of doubling the price of one starter made "abundant" the service aggressively told us we lack sense of taste and threatened us physically if we...
