CASAMADIE - Piazza del Popolo, Cesena — Restaurant in Unione dei comuni Valle del Savio

We visited this place today and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.

We were seated at a bar table with the promise of being moved to a regular table as soon as one became available. However, when tables did become available, they were given to other guests, and we were completely ignored by the waiter. We didn’t even get eye contact, which felt disrespectful. Additionally, we were not given water, even though we saw others being served. It was unclear whether water needed to be ordered or if it was automatically provided with the meal.

The food took about 40 minutes to arrive, which we would have appreciated knowing in advance, especially since the bar chairs were extremely uncomfortable with no back support. When the food finally arrived, it was bland, lacked seasoning, and felt boring. The prices were far too high for the quality offered, and it did not meet our expectations at all.

The only positive aspect was the drinks. The lemonade and caramel latte were actually good and perhaps worth trying, but that’s not enough to make up for the rest of the experience.

The bakery is located in the very center of this small town. There is a wide variety of food, including options for vegetarians. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas, which is a big plus in case it’s raining outside. The price of breakfast per meal ranges from 1 to 10...

La possibilità di una english/american breakfast mi ha attirato a Casamadie, ma si è rivelato più o meno l'unico, vero punto a favore di questo bar (dato che non molti altri offrono questo tipo di proposta). Pagare due (di numero) pancakes con sopra due (di numero) fette di bacon il prezzo di una pizza, infatti, non mi entusiasma, specie se i suddetti pancakes e bacon sono piuttosto gommosi, quasi si tratti di cibo già pronto e poi riscaldato, anziché preparato al momento. Anche il servizio non è impeccabile e denota una certa confusione: mentre faccio il mio ordine (pancakes con burro d'arachidi e bacon), la ragazza dietro al bancone mi interrompe per spiegarmi il funzionamento di una sorta di segnaposto assegnato al mio ordine. Ricomincio, spiegando per la seconda volta quello che vorrei...che nel momento in cui arriva al tavolo, naturalmente, non corrisponde...
