I can’t remember another place where I’ve been treated so poorly. We hadn’t booked, and they told us we’d have to wait to order. We waited patiently, and heard the food choices given to a family of regulars. As main course, I ordered the same plate, but for me, it didn’t come with a choice. Fair enough, perhaps the other ingredients were over, I though. After the main course, I ordered black chickpea and beans, a specialty in their menu, according to them. They came with regular chickpeas, probably canned. I was too tired to argue—also I detest arguing—but I don’t recommend this place to anyone, unless they know you. In that case, you’ll be treated with utmost kindness and favour.

I bet this review will get me a snarky reply, which is what a professional wouldn’t do. Prove me wrong, I beg you!

Location molto carina, il personale gentile e professionale ma per quanto riguarda il cibo, non lo consiglio. Ho ordinato un tagliere di affettati e a parte che non era un tagliere di legno ma un piatto di porcellana (ma non è questo il punto), gli affettati erano pochissimi e di scarsa qualità. Quelli comprati al supermercato sono migliori. Prezzi alle stelle e non abbiamo mangiato praticamente niente. Il mio compagno ha ordinato una zuppa che non era eccezionale. Il menù non offre molta scelta. Il vino però era molto buono, questo bisogna ammetterlo. Metto due stelle perché la location è particolare, suggestiva e merita. Il cibo purtroppo gli fa perdere tantissimi punti. Modifico la mia recensione da qui in poi rispondendo alla risposta del ristoratore: Nel momento in cui si riceve una recensione poco gradita, si manda una persona "non diciamo in quali posti"? Neanche lo avessi insultato, ci siamo semplicemente trovati male con il cibo. Poi se è d'obbligo scrivere che è tutto buonissimo, abbondante, rapporto qualità/prezzo impeccabile e se bisogna mettere per forza 5 stelle, altrimenti si viene mandati "non diciamo in quali posti", allora alzo le mani. E pensare che l'inizio della mia recensione originale apprezzava il personale per professionalità e gentilezza. Prendo io una stella per cosa? Per non aver recensito come desiderato? Ma ci rendiamo conto di come ha risposto alla mia recensione? Un buon esercente (che si tratti di un ristoratore o di altro) ha bisogno anche di recensioni negative e dovrebbe prenderle come spunto per migliorarsi (anche solo per imparare a rispondere in modo professionale).
