I chose Trattoria da Paolino after reading all of the rave reviews on TripAdvisor and finding out they accommodate vegan guests - they did not disappoint!

The ristorante is small and quaint, so I would certainly recommend making a reservation beforehand.

I am a vegan / eat a plant-based diet, which is not always easy. Although they don’t have a wide selection for vegans, they were willing to make some substitutions based on what I wanted. Sadly, a good portion of their pastas contain egg (which is disappointing) so I was limited to the one pasta they make in house and eliminated the pancetta. They had no vegan options for dessert, and the typical side dishes you would expect in Italy for Vegans - roasted potatoes, beans, salad or fresh/grilled vegetables.

They delivered bread to the table, but it tasted stale and dry. We also had a fresh tomato bruschetta, fagioli, wine, grappa and espresso.

The service was incredible - one of the women spoke English and assisted with our menu choices. The other was extremely attentive. Our plates were cleared immediately, and drinks delivered promptly. The staff were friendly and spoke with us for a time before we left.

I believe we ended up paying €56 total for 2 people to have an appetizer, pasta dish, side dish, bottle of wine, water, shot of grappa and espresso - which is on par for a tourist region.

Thank you for a...

PS. Tra due settimane ci rivado, purtroppo crea...

The two lady hosts are excellent. They give you a warm welcome and give you the feel that you're home, eating your mum's food. We jumped straight into the pasta. We had the fulling of a ravioli, without the ravioli itself, ricotta and spinach cooked in butter and sage with truffle shavings. And we also had pici (local pasta without egg) with bacon and saucy peccorino cheese. As a side dish we had spinach and roast potatoes. You'll have to the my word - the food was the best we've had so far in 5 days of our Tuscany journey The restaurant is simple and very welcoming. The views, if you sit next to the windows are breathtaking and the ladies hosts were great. Highly...

Absolutely perfect. Service was incredible and food was absolutely delicious. Would recommend visiting here for dinner in Manciano, then wandering around the city after (the views are stunning at sunset and the city is very cosy at night), finishing with gelato next door to the restaurant (also owned by this beautiful restaurant). Thanks for such a gorgeous night. Grazie Mille.
