This store is apparently family-unfriendly. Our daughter was drawing with washable chalk on the ground of the public square in front of the café, which during our stay seemed fine with everyone. However, when we were about to leave, this led to a bizarre situation. The waiter rushed outside and in a very angry voice said to us who we think is going to clean this drawing (sun, rainbow, clouds) up if not her. When we assured that the drawing will be gone by the next rain, she argued "this square is public and there is a hospital across" so she told us to clean it. The square itself was full of garbage, bird poo and cigarette butts, which is why this statement really irritated us. However, it was impossible to talk to the staff and so we removed the picture with a small tray they handed to us. Our daughter was crying, which the staff (apart from one waitress) didn't care about at all. We have never been treated like this anywhere else. Anyone with a child should think twice before going there. And the response to this post does not give the impression that they understood why their behaviour was so disrespectful.
