M friend and I stopped by this restaurant at the end of the day, hoping for a nice dinner. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the very beginning. As the evening had cooled down, we wanted to sit inside, but the waiter rudely told us we could only sit outside. Even though the indoor area was nearly empty, with just one or two locals seated. After waiting 15 minutes, we finally received only the menu. We then waited another 20 minutes, hoping someone would take our order. Read moreMy friend and I stumbled upon this restaurant after arriving to our hostel a few blocks down. We planned on trying other restaurants in Venice for our short trip, but ended up coming back here every night. The broccoli orecchiette truly was the best pasta I've ever had in my life. My friend, who has celiacs, also loved the gluten free options. We don't speak Italian, but were able to get by fairly easily with English and the occasional Spanish cognate.
Not a day goes by where I don't think about this pasta. 10/10...
