Pizzeria Mestrina — Restaurant in Venice

It was comfortable enough to eat outside! The server/cook were very patient with us, despite some language barrier with us trying to understand the menu options and asking questions. This was the first of 3 pizzas we tried while in Italy for this trip. We also got a fresh salad. It had greens and we drizzled a little salt and olive oil on it for perfection! I got recommendation for a beer too! Everything was great!

I only remember one or two tables to eat inside, since it was kinda small.

They had a lot of carry-outs and dining outside in the nice weather.

A must...

So you know when you wander around a new city that you visit, you get a bit hungry, you find a small pizzeria with 2-3 tall tables and you wonder if you should enter or find something else, but theres no guarantee you find something as it is already late so yo just enter and eat one of the best pizzas in your life, well this is that place, the food is hand made right in front of your eyes in minutes, and it's absolutely fantastic. If I go to Venice again I will make it a priority to eat here again, highly...

More of a walk in pizza joint, this was our first stop close to our air bnb. A very popular late night spot for locals, the kitchen staff were accommodating with menus, very friendly, and tried to accommodate conversation through google translate. Great staff.

The staff recommended the Mestrina, which I really enjoyed. The kids had the Diovola which was also excellent. My wife had the Marguerita which was a little basic but what she was looking for. Highly recommended as a local pizza spot....
