C'è Pizza e Pizza — Restaurant in Venice

Cheap pizza and still not worth the price. Bad ingredients, long wait and terrible service. Not once did the server tell us how long the wait would be and even when I asked how much longer we would need to wait after spending 20 minutes standing outside, she still couldn't tell us. We watched as people who arrived after us ordered, paid, got their pizzas and left. We only ordered one small pizza and yet the woman who ordered 6 pizzas standing behind us received hers first. In actuality, 14 pizzas were made to order before we got ours even though we had been waiting longer. Upon leaving, I thanked the woman and the chef and held my tongue as I didn't want to cause any issues and as I was walking out the door the woman began to berade me and my friend. When I told her that I thought we were treated unfairly she began screaming at me and continued to do so even as we walked away down the street. She clearly believed that we were ignorant tourists and didn't deserve to be treated fairly. She must have assumed I couldn't speak Italian and therefore wouldn't understand her disrespectful comments about my friend and I. NEVER have I been treated so poorly. NEVER have I eaten such bad pizza. Perhaps it all would have been worth it if we had gotten home to have a delicious meal but unfortunately half the pizza ended up in the trash bin. If i could give this place 0 stars I would. I went here last night and waited for a very long time for my pizza but that wasn't even the problem. At first I didn't mind waiting because I figured they were just busy. What is so awful about this place is the lady who works there. There was a girl in front of me that had clearly been waiting for a while, I watched multiple people get their pizza before her that had ordered after her. Finally when the girl got her pizza she was not happy but still said thank you then the lady working there told her to calm down then continued to scream at her and chase her and her friend out of the store. I have never in my life experienced such terrible customer service. Since it wasn't my business, I kept to myself. After 30 minuets of waiting for my own pizza, it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life.. When I picked up the slice of pizza it all fell apart because the dough was hardly cooked. I will never be going here again and wouldn't recommend...

We visited this spot twice during our stay in Venice, and it became one of my favorite dinner places. Despite going to other restaurants in Venice for double the price, we never felt as satisfied as we did here. The price-to-value ratio, efficient service, and teamwork were impressive. It was enjoyable to watch the rhythm of the team as the guy prepared fresh dough while the lady and another man managed orders and cooked pizzas. Despite the busyness, they remembered every order without using ticket numbers (impressive).

Highly recommend the Spinach & Ricotta pizza, which we bought twice on the staff's recommendation! Enough reading - go buy yourself a Pizza pronto.
