McDonald's Mestre Corso del Popolo — Restaurant in Venice

service quality is inconsistent, there's one time i waited a meal for an hour, because there were a lot of people in the line, the staff keeps telling me i just have to wait despite the fact that my number has already passed. In the end they realized that they simply neglected my order and didn't even start to cook it until I brought it up again after almost an hour waiting. Talked to the manager but not much was offered than an extra french fry, pretty sure my one hour's time is worth more than a french fry but yeah. Another incident happened just a few days ago, I have this "buono pasto"(food ticket) that I can spend in restaurant and supermarket, the previous night I paid some deserts and teas with my food ticket and it was fine, the next day I made an order and the staff refused to accept my food ticket, claiming that they NEVER accept those. Out of the places we've eaten from while in venice (mestre and venezia), this is one of our favourites. The touchscreens can be turned to English, so as long as you can guess (or know) enough Italian to change it, ordering is a breeze. Table service was quick. The server who brang our food was polite, putting our trays down. I had cheese loaded fries and a mayo chicken, and my partner had bacon and cheese fries and a grand double chicken. All our food was hot and the chicken tasted nice and fresh. (Bearing in mind, we are used to English McDonald's that's processed). It was quite despite being 1pm. The tables seemed clean, but we didn't use the toilets, so I can't speak on them as I know that was the problem for another reviewer. Just go elsewhere. If I could give the service here zero stars I would. This place is an absolute disaster. I’m there’s always about 14 people working and they just glare at you and never smile. I waited over 20 mins for my order and noticed my number on the screen disappeared, I went to ask not one but two workers to let them know my number had gone off the screen and I was still waiting for my food. One shooed me away with her hand and the other rudely did not let me finish my sentence and said you have to wait in the most rude tone. Then I got my food and got back to my hotel and my milkshake was disgusting and not made right and no sauces with my chicken nuggets that I paid for!
