Taverna Tipica Veneziana — Restaurant in Venice

Good food, good prices, and fun location. We loved the goats and Guinea pigs. Super cool handmade chairs that are surprisingly comfortable. Ordering can be a little chaotic if it’s busy and your Italian is sorely lacking (like mine). But it works out and you get food. We ended up ordering plain spaghetti with just butter for my son, who only ate half (he liked it, just not a great eater) and then we put some of the shrimp and courgette on it and that was DELICIOUS!! If we could eat that everyday we’d be happy! They used edible (thick cracker) bowls and we thought that was cool. Fun to sit in the garden and drink. I did get stung by a bee between my toes, but I was wearing sandals and walking through flowering clover....

They r continuously erasing my post. Those r racists. Who wanna feel the racism then here is it. When Im waiting for buying the ice cream, no one answered, even the woman said that I had to pay n tell another section, so that i reached to the counter, and then a guy said that I have to pay right in front of the ice cream. R those rules keep changing every time? even though I had to wait until who didn't ask for buying the ice cream. I told him that I had come first, but he still kept saying that I had to wait until the white people chose their ice cream first. This is obviously racism. It was the worst...

Very popular place where you can find quality relatively bargain food in Torcello. There was a queue, but the line moved on quite quickly! Everything my friend and I had was good and the staff, despite being extremely busy, was polite and available answer some quick questions we posed them! The place is pleasant with an outdoors self-service area. Nearby this area there, is an other outdoors space, where you can have table service. Definitely recommendable, especially if you are looking for a quick lunch in a characteristic island...
