Piazza Caffè — Restaurant in Ventimiglia

If i could give 0 stars i would. From the very start of our encounter with this lady i became uncomfortable. We were a table of 4 muslim girls and the waitress proceeded to rudely throw Drinks menus to us. Evidently as muslims we dont drink. We then proceeded to ask for food menus, to which her reply was “we dont have any food im here all alone” and then proceeded to lost half the menu…. We left. We came back to take this picture and complain to the manager about how we were racially profiled and abused. She kept squaring up to me when i just wanted to talk to the manager. She then slapped my phone out of my hand. The manager never came. Before the waitress had a chance to go further, and violate my personal space any more we decided to leave.

This restaurant is not how tourists should be treated, this should not be how anyone is treated, we are all equals in this world i dont know what deluded reality she is living in but i am still shocked. Never would have expected to be the subject of this racist abuse. Not a shocker that this place...

One of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We went to Piazza Caffè in Ventimiglia for lunch. The menu photos looked appealing and the terrasse was charming, but everything went downhill from there.

I ordered a meat dish that looked red and juicy on the menu—but what I received was a pale, white piece of meat smothered in a jelly-like, revolting sauce. The potatoes were undercooked and hard, completely inedible. I took one bite and stopped.

My friend had the cannelloni di magro, which looked and tasted like a cheap frozen meal. Absolutely no flavor, texture, or quality. We informed the waiter and asked to send both plates back (they were basically untouched), and we weren’t even offered a simple apology, let alone a compensation or a discount.

We ended up paying €40 for a disgusting meal we didn’t even eat. On top of that, the toilets were filthy, with insects crawling around—completely unacceptable for a restaurant.

Honestly, how places like this are allowed to operate is beyond me. Avoid...

It's our first day of vacation for this month and we were very excited to spend it here in Ventimiglia. Seeing the nice view of the place, we were looking forward to eat an amazing dish. However, beginning from the menu to the service and food, i must say it was an awful experience. The menu was filthy, it was full of grime and oil. It was even smelly. The food was very disappointing: we ordered pizza margherita and milanese fritte. The fried ones very dry and overcooked while the pizza, there were hair in it 2 out of 3 pizzas. When we asked the waiters, they just laughed and got the plate from us. 20 mins have passed and yet the another pizza was not still cooked and the server responded in very disturbing manner. Even cut us off when we were trying to ask how many minutes should we wait more. Overall, the experience was awful. I don't see myself coming back nor recommending it to...
