The atmosphere is the best part, it’s a beautiful restaurant with patio and ambiance tucked away in a pretty street. Essentially a restaurant tailored for German clientele. To be more direct, I live in Germany and the food is on par with the bland basic nature of German cuisine, but this time with an Italian twist. I would honestly suggest, for a great date night, grab a bottle of wine here, enjoy the atmosphere and beautiful atmosphere, then eat somewhere else.

Service is friendly, restaurant is very classy on the inside, and cosy on the outside since located in a residential calm area of the Verbania city. Negroni was very well mixed. I didn’t like the orecchiette with octopus and olives, something didn’t taste well for me. I preferred the tagliatelle carbonara with asparagus. For desserts, the chocolate tart was delicious, the panna cotta also light and creamy.

Die Qualität des Essens war auf höchstem Niveau und die Geschmackskombinationen waren außergewöhnlich lecker. Es war klar, dass viel Liebe und Sorgfalt in die Zubereitung gesteckt wurde. Allerdings fiel mir auf, dass die Portionen etwas kleiner ausfielen, was möglicherweise dazu führen könnte, dass manche Gäste nicht ganz satt werden. Trotzdem war die Qualität des Essens so bemerkenswert, dass dies nur eine geringfügige Einschränkung war. Der angebotene Wein passte hervorragend zum Essen, und auch der Service war sehr professionell und aufmerksam. Die einzige kleine Enttäuschung war, dass der Wein nicht nachgeschenkt wurde, was in einem so hochwertigen Restaurant vielleicht wünschenswert gewesen wäre. Alles in allem war mein Besuch im Restaurant La Rungia eine kulinarische Reise der Freude. Während die Portionen etwas kleiner waren, wurde dies durch die erstklassige Qualität des Essens und des Weins sowie den hervorragenden Service mehr als ausgeglichen. Ich würde definitiv empfehlen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen und die raffinierte Küche zu genießen.

This restaurant is amazing. I have gluten and lactose intolerance. They are not specialised on this but they customized their dishes according to my needs and they even baked a small gluten free bread for me. I’m really touched how much effort they put into their service making a perfect evening for every single guest. Above all the waiter speaks more than just two languages. Not to mention that the food is just delicious there! I highly recommend to try octopus with Kohlrabi...

The service was excellent. The waiter was very patient and helpful. We ordered 2 firsts. A special mushroom pasta dish and a lemon tagliolini shrimp tartar dish.
