We were here today and it was okay but we would not recommend going there. We ordered 3 starters and they forgot two of them. The one starter we got was okay but not something special. The salami was still with the skin, everything seemed a bit careless. Water bottle was simply put on the table. Not a problem, but in total not a breathtaking experience. The dish we ordered as a main (Tris pasta) was good, but again we had the feeling we could do it better by ourselves. Very oily. No one asked if everything was alright, we had no water anymore, we had no pepper and no salt. The wine we had was really good. Unfortunately, our experience was not positive from the very beginning. The service was quite slow, and the staff made us feel as though we were not welcome. When the food arrived, I ordered a lasagna that was extremely dry. I asked for some olive oil to go with the bread, and the chef responded rather rudely, questioning what I would use the oil for and saying, “this is not how we do it in Italy,” before reluctantly bringing it to the table.

My favorite place to eat dinner in Pallanza. Chef is such a nice man and very passionate about his cooking. The lady who runs the front of house is very friendly and you can tell she loves her job. I always say next time I will order less but always end up stuffed because I can’t turn down chefs carbonara or his delicious eggplant parmigiana. Prices are very fair.
