I recently had the pleasure of dining at I Gutt d'Oli, an Italian restaurant, with a large group of almost 40 people. Considering the size of our party, I must express my utmost satisfaction with the exceptional service we received and the quick delivery of delicious pizzas.

Upon our arrival, the restaurant staff demonstrated remarkable efficiency in accommodating our group. They promptly organized seating arrangements and ensured everyone felt welcome and comfortable. Despite the challenges that come with serving such a large number of guests, I Gutt d'Oli's staff went above and beyond to deliver our pizzas in a surprisingly short amount of time.

While it's understandable that not all individuals received their pizzas simultaneously due to the sheer volume of orders, I was particularly pleased to see that the children in our group were served their pizzas promptly. Terrible place. I went here with family friends who live locally on the lake and I tried to pay my and my girlfriends part of the bill by card. The owner lied saying it was Italian law that he could not do this which was just not true as my family live here and I know the area well and speak fluent Italian . Even when my girlfriend and family spoke to him he continued to be rude and arrogant and just didn't listen. How was I supposed to pay with no actual money on me? The owner seemed to lack basic common sense. He also insulted my girlfriend who was just trying to reason with him. This owner ruined our evening for no reason. Stay away from this place or risk being insulted and embarassed in front of other people. Not at all happy. Will NEVER go back here. I also know local people and Italian friends who go here and they will not be going there...

We visited the restaurant at 7:00 PM as a family with two small children. The starters were okay, but the risotto was undercooked in parts and the garganelli had an overwhelming amount of garlic. The children’s meals were served together with the starters, and after that, we had to wait over an hour for the main courses.

The food was disappointing: a mediocre prosciutto pizza and three skewers of frozen shrimp and squid grilt (spiedini di calamari) with overcooked, mushy broccoli. Drinks we ordered by the main course arrived after we had finished the main course.

Despite informing the staff that we needed to leave after two hours because of the kids, we still had to pay for unopened bottles of apple juice.
