Il Boschetto — Restaurant in Verona

I was stuck in a remote airbnb next to this place and tried to go there for an early lunch. Both the food and the service are so awful it made me cry, because I feel I had 11 euros basically stolen from me. They don't speak a word of English but my Spanish is good and there cannot have been that much misunderstanding . I was charged 11 euros at lunch for a plate of food, a side of veg (which they did not bring and i had to beg for it with tears in my eyes, because it was the only remotely edible item and I was famished), wine which I declined at ordering because I don't drink at lunch, a bottle of fizzy water they did not bring either (they brought still water, which was not what I ordered but they seemed unmoved by it, so I left it there when I fled), and a tiny little coffe despite me begging for a large one. The dish was a plate of boiled supermarket pasta with at least 1kg of salt, so I could not eat any of it. I ordered it because it was supposed to have sardines, and I wanted my protein. It did not have any sardines. I ended up going to a different restaurant. Despite seeing that their poor service and inedible food drove a middle aged woman to tears, and that I drank only the coffee and ate only some of the vegetables from the side dish, they had no qualms charging me. A gorgeous little oasis in a small grove with a patio, just out of town and right next to the river. The tasty, home-cooked food isn’t fancy, the wine is basic, but the friendly service and casual atmosphere are wonderful. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner. Tell them...

Il locale è molto carino.. tutto in legno e in una posizione splendida vicino al fiume Adige. Hanno un ampio parcheggio sterrato dove lasciare le auto. Personale gentile e alla mano. Servizio abbastanza rapido. Uniche pecche sono: il bagno.. su 4 bagni ne andavano solo 2 (2 guasti) e non c'era modo di asciugarsi le mani dato che i soffiatori erano spenti o rotti e non c'era ne carta ne niente. Il prezzo. 10,5€ per un secondo e un acqua é abbastanza caro ma il cibo era veramente buono e probabilmente ne valeva quasi la pena. Discutibili i cani che girano al ingresso e appena dentro il locale.. ma sono stati davvero...
