Il Localino — Restaurant in Verona

Currently in Verona on our Luna di miele and found this place by chance. It's so good we've visited twice on our trip and are planning another tomorrow before we leave for home! The food is absolutely stunning. Not a massive menu, which suits us perfectly and seems to change frequently. The staff are very friendly and attentive, even putting up with our terrible attempt at Italian (Mi dispiace 🙏). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Il Localino to everyone. Maybe a nice place to sit and have a drink. Food is maybe the worst I ever had at a restaurant.

Just to add to your comment. The problem is not that I was in a bad mood or that your food is not great - which both is true. But that is not the main problem. The real problem is that mass tourism is destroying this beautiful city of Verona. Thats why you and many other restaurants raise prices and simply don‘t care. This is visible in the service and the food quality in many restaurants in Verona. And this is the real problem. You know how to cook good pasta. Or sepia…those are...

We stayed in Verona recently and were referred to this restaurant. We tried the sausage and mushroom fusilli and an eggplant appetizer. All I can say is wow! It was two of the best dishes I had in the area. The food was amazing and so was the service. We were visiting from another country and they were so welcoming and hospitable.
