We came here with high hopes after reading the reviews. “Vegetable Biryani” was more like a turmeric boiled rice with small bits of long bean and mixed vegetables in it, for €6 portion was very small - like a palm size bowl.
Had chicken makhani, it was nice but we wonder why the chicken breast was chopped up into really small pieces like 1-1.5cm. Lamb korma had small pieces of lamb and lots of gravy unlike any lamb korma we’ve eaten either. Cauliflower was pleasant.
Overall food tastes fine as it makes a good change from Italian cuisine (we’ve been in Italy for more than 2 weeks), a little overpriced in our opinions as portions were much smaller than UK standard Indian food, we could have food for 4+ persons for what we paid in...

Pickles with pops were great. Pops themselves the weird microwave type things you get here, but ok.
Great burn with the pickles which continued with the main course.
Yes, run by Sri Lankans, but fairly like a UK curry. Decent sauce, just hot enough and I think the main waiter is serious, but certainly not rude. If you show some interest in Sri Lanka he lights up. Some of the reviews here seem most unfair. Would deffo recommend, just remember you're in mainland Europe not UK. Made a great change from...
Read moreNot great. Slow service. I do not recommend the Menu Elefante. Something called 'moju' is sickly sweet. The prawn curry has little flavour and it is really really messy trying to get the little meat out of the mass of shell, which makes up most of the bulk of t he food. Few Indian spices, if any. The tasteless tuna croquettes do not seem to be Indian at all, and the 'pappadum' is actually HALF a pappadum. Total prce: 23 Euros. A messy, tasteless rip-off that took almost 1 hour to be served. I would give it 0...
