La Pausa — Restaurant in Vicenza

Very friendly staff and owners. They make one of the best classic pastas we have ever had. Spaghetti Aglio e olio was so good we always have to order seconds. Other dishes we had such as Salads, pizzas, and seafood were all great. Carbonara seems to have some cream or too creamy, not really my taste. Nonetheless a must visit for us every time we come to Vicenza. (2018 2019 2022)

Edit 2023 - Carbonara really better, more traditional and balanced. Lobster pasta was simply amazing. Love this place as always!

Very good selection of food. Locals come here, so it means it is worth it :) rich selection of wines. Very friendly service. English speaking. Air conditioning, and you can visit with a dog. Menu full of fish, although we did not try it. Still looked very good on neighbours table. Local atmosphere. Vicenze suburbs. Good location from motorway....
