My first bad review on google :(

The views were not worth the degrading experience from their staff. Just embarrassing.

It felt as though we were not worth their attention based on our appearance! Not a nice experience being looked down upon, especially being 7mo. pregnant, we were wearing casual, comfortable clothes. If they have a dress code for their clients, I would have been happy to change in the car.

Here’s the 5 things that bothered me.

The person at the gate took a few minutes to decide if he should let us enter, he spent some time whispering on his radio. After 5 min he told us we can park and head down to the reception.

They told us it would be a 20-30min wait so we said sure, we can wait in the “bar” area. Which was a collection of tables on a patio next to the restaurant. It did not really seem like a bar, it seemed like a place where they kept the undesirables.

During the whole 1.5hrs we were there, nobody else was seated in the bar area. After waiting with no attention from anyone for a long time, my husband flagged down a server to get some menus. Another 15min, flagged down another server to take our order and he gave him $20 to give us some attention. It helped, at least after this we did not have to beg to be attended…

We were told the Wi-Fi was “broken” but we saw the network was available on our phones — with a strong signal, by the way. Maybe it was not working but I’ll never know, they refused to give us the password!

After we ordered some food from the bar menu, our waiter flipped the page, pointed at the price of the item, and confirmed it with my husband. Yes, we want to order 2 things, yes we are ok with paying 20 euros for each. Please keep in mind, the tourists that come to your restaurant, flew here from another country to have a vacation. Just assume next time they can afford your food and service. Restaurants in US are quite expensive, we have paid more for Taco Bell drive-thru.

The people on the restaurant floor had nice plating, metal utensils. They served our bar food on plastic plates and cheap plastic utensils in the packaging, like the ones they give you on the airplane. Why not just give us the normal plates and normal utensils? It felt unnecessarily condescending.

If you decide to stop by, don’t forget to put on your fancy and expensive looking outfits and hope you will at least be treated with...

Dall'arrivo di sta mattina, parcheggiatore accogliente e professionale alla reception altrettanto professionale ed accogliente Dopo di che tranne che il fantastico pranzo da 10e lode e andato tutto in discesa . Arrivati in spiaggia forse un po' troppo presto di quello che lo staff e abituato era tutto a rilento dal welcome drink alla richiesta di un ordine per la colazione alla richiesta della pulizia del tavolo dopo colazione . Forse perché siamo fuori stagione ma purtroppo i miei prezzi non lo erano Mykonos, Ibiza, Barcellona , Caraibi Seashell , Saint Barths Miami ( giusto un paio di posti ) ma mai arrivati a questi prezzi ombrellone di Barbie e due lettini sporchi e non disinfettati € 125 + 22 taxes ! A metà giornata andiamo a pranzo e siamo stati ricevuti da Vladi ( manager ) non molto gradevole e poco accogliente Dopo aver ordinato e ricevuto le nostre pietanze incluse dessert mi son permesso di chiedere un amaro seguito da 2 cocktails da portare in spiaggia Alche chiedo il conto e mi accorgo che ha incluso anche gli amari Adesso premetto che il prezzo degli amati non mi hanno spaventato ma visto che l'amaro me l'hanno offerto anche nei più poveri dei ristoranti ho assunto è per scontato dopo aver speso la giornata su un beach club non assolutamente all'altezza di quei prezzi o del servizio, e specialmente dopo aver speso € 350 per l'intera giornata ! il minimo che poteva fare era come gesto accogliente e professionale di offrire un paio di amari ! Il che mi ha infastidito ed ho confrontato questo vladi , dicendoli che avendo girato per il mondo abbastanza e sicuramente più di lui visto che ho 51 anni , la cosa da fare era di offrire gli amari ma lui scortesemente e con esuberanza mi risponde che proprio per quello dovrei capire come comportarmi , invece di semplicemente scusarsi ed aderire alla mia piccola richiesta , che ha fatto solo dopo che io puntigliosamente gli ho ribadito come un manager dovrebbe comportarsi, per tutto ciò alla fine della mia giornata mi son rifiutato di lasciare un'altro centesimo allo staff per colpa sua ! Uno perché il posto non è all'altezza di quei prezzi due l'estetica e povera e sporca piena di moscerini e insetti di sabbia che continuavano a pungermi durante la mattina ( forse perché non viene disinfettato adeguatamente ) e per terzo il servizio e inesistente ! Alla fine della giornata all'uscita siamo stati confrontati da un parcheggiatore scorbutico e razzista chiedendoci scusi scusi così insistentemente come per dire voi che fate qui, al che ho perso tutta la mia civiltà e sono sceso di nuovo giù per chiedere l'aiuto del manager per poi scoprire era lo stesso vladi a cui avevo avuto un confronto a pranzo il che ho capito che era già una perdita di tempo , e nonostante l' accaduto sul quanto successo , lui immediatamente difende la persona dicendo innocentemente che la persona maleducata nel parcheggio e con noi da molti anni ed è impossibile che avrebbe fatto una cosa del genere , come se fosse impossibile che in Italia ci fossero omofobi razzisti o soprattutto poco intelligenti ( per non dire la parola più adatta ) ? E mentre parlavo con sto vladi si è intromesso una altro dello stuff poco intelligente al front desk al cui non ricordo il nome , ed ho chiesto lui se sapesse cosa vuol dire essere una persona di discendenze Afro Americane ? E lui risponde, e non sto scherzando ! Si lo so mi abbronzo così tanto che lo so cosa vuol dire, un'affermazione così razzista non l'avevo mai sentita , dopo questa lunga spiegazione voglio concludere semplicemente che tranne il fantastico pranzo il posto e osceno sporco e razzista , e non lo raccomanderei mai a nessuno perché anche se solo per mangiare dovreste sempre aver a che fare con...

It is such a good place to go and run from the crowded beaches of Amalfi coast. The bathroom has some good amenities. However, the staff was good, but not very friendly with us. They told us about some fruits and lemonade when we paid for the reservation at the beach club, but we didn’t receive anything. Also, we had to ask so many times for a drink on the beach and they didn’t give us attention. It is definitely a beautiful place and very peaceful. The access is very easy and we don’t have to face a lot of stairs, which is good. But anyway, I don’t recommend it unless you...
