Uroko — Restaurant in Abashiri

The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant is laid back. Good selection on their menu and they also had specials.

I had 4 dishes and a drink, the best dish was their special which was the Hokkaido roast beef, 10/10. The garlic butter prawns was also great.

They also had a good range of drinks, including wine and non alcoholic drinks.

Their menu was in Japanese only but the owner knew English and came to help me order....

札幌を６時台に出発する特急オホーツク１号にて網走着12時過ぎになります。釧路行きの各停の発車時刻まで３時間くらいあり、折りたたみ自転車を組み立てて網走刑務所に行く前にまずランチです。

ダウンタウンに向かいGoogleマップでめぼしいランチスポットをいくつかピックアップしてあり移動します。平日ですが人も車も少な目です。休業日などでNGなレストランもありましたが、隠れ家的なGoogleマップ4.6のオステリアバルUROKOに決めました。店頭に到着し、細い路地を奥に行って入店です。

入店するとややモダンなカフェな感じです。女性オーナー？のワンオペです。OLひとり客が２組いてちょっと安心。

テーブル席に座ってメニューを眺めます。全てのランチがおばんざい３品がセットされたランチになっています。
