Kurukuruken — Restaurant in Aizuwakamatsu

Today I ate their Aizu jidiori ankake ramen. It costs 950 yen. It was super delicious and filling. It has chicken, cabbage, carries, mushrooms, and maybe other vegetables. The soup broth is thick and the dish was very hot. There was so much I couldn't even finish it, but then again I have a small appetite. My husband and I had to wait maybe 8 minutes to be seated around 1pm because it was very busy and the shop is small. When we ordered we had to wait maybe 15 minutes due to only the 2 staff, but it was worth the wait! On a cold day it is perfect. I think the Aizu chicken ramen is only for a special time from January 1 to March 31. I recommend this shop. The staff were very kind and quick to see...

I didn't add the details at the time, but we ate here in 2023, travelling from Australia. It was one of the best cheap meals we have had in our lives, to the point that we specifically mention being excited to come here again when we return to Fukushima...

喜多方の「くるくる軒」に行こうと思ってたら月曜日は定休日との事で「食べログ」で調べたら会津若松にも「くるくる軒」がある事を発見。

同じ系列ではないかもだけど宿泊していた喜多方から、どちらにしても墓参りもあるので会津若松へと移動。

ここへ着いたのは墓参りやらお土産購入など終えて14時近く。何組かの行列有り。駐車場が4台分しか用意が無いので空くまで30分近く待つ。14時30分過ぎに駐車場も空き入店。お店の中はそんなに広くも無いので入れる人数は限られています。老夫婦2人で切り盛りしていてお二人とも人柄も良く。

そしてこのお店に期待したのは「食べログ」での口コミに悪い事が書かれておらず、中には「会津若松の町中華の王様」と書かれている方もいるほど。

頼んだのは妻が「Aセット」というラーメン+半チャーハン付きのセット。僕が塩ラーメン好きなので塩ラーメンをチョイス。

醤油ラーメンも鶏の出汁なのかな？これが効いていて美味し！チャーハンもパラパラで味も最高！

そして僕の頼んだ塩ラーメン、これがバツグンに美味い！東京方面の塩ラーメンにはあまり入らないゴマ油の香りがほんのりとして更に食欲が湧く。

妻も僕も無言になるほど食べ進めてしまった。 会津若松にはここ最近何度となく来ているけどもっも早く見つけておきたかった。これからは会津若松に来たらここをリピートします。

店主も女将さんも「駐車場お待たせしてしまってすみませんでした」って言ってくれて。とても美味しかったので待った時間なんてチャラでした。
