Homarezushi offers excellent edo style sushi. The fish is always fresh and bought in the local market in the morning. This is a family owned and run restaurant, and the personal touch shines through.

The star of the show is the restaurant's anago (sea eel) sushi and don. Homarezushi is famous locally for it, and their anago sushi are even sold at Akita Airport and the harbor.
