Been living in the area for 5 years now and today was my last day. My partner and I decided to visit the Book Port Cafe for some drinks and a quick look at the books. It was very cute inside and there were many books! The owner was very welcoming and kind, the atmosphere was peaceful. We ordered a cocoa and earl grey and were surprised to see the lovely mugs and biscuit. The overall presentation was very nice and the cocoa was very pleasant! Thank you :)

こんなブックカフェが浜須賀にあったの知らなかった。 店主が選んだ本がずらっと並んでいて、コーヒーを飲みながらゆっくり本を読むことができます。とっても落ち着く空間。 私は「家盛奇譚」を読みました。普段は手に取らない小説ですが、とっても気に入り自分用にAmazonで購入しました。 そんな、新たの出会いが期待できる空間です！

こんなブックカフェが浜須賀にあったの知らなかった。 店主が選んだ本がずらっと並んでいて、コーヒーを飲みながらゆっくり本を読むことができます。とっても落ち着く空間。 私は「家盛奇譚」を読みました。普段は手に取らない小説ですが、とっても気に入り自分用にAmazonで購入しました。 そんな、新たの出会いが期待できる空間です！

子どもがアレセイアに用事があり、待ち時間の暇つぶしで訪問。 もう少し足を伸ばせばコメダや星乃珈琲もあるが、たまにはチェーンじゃないカフェでゆっくりもいいだろうと訪問。

中に入るとこじんまりとしたスペース。壁には本がぎっしり！ 本のラインナップは文学好き垂涎のものばかり。店主が60〜70歳代くらいと見え、その年頃の文学少年少女が好んだ本たちではないかと推測される。

本の通な品揃えに興奮しつつ、カフェラテとケーキを頼む。

本棚には大学時代に幾度となく読んだ三浦綾子「ひつしが丘」を発見。早速手に取り繰り広げられるドロドロ恋愛模様に深くため息をつきながらアイスカフェとケーキを流し込んだ。

おいしい。苦々しい心に染み渡る。 本にはコーヒーと甘いものがつきものだなと思う。

退店の時にチラシをもらうと、輪読会もやっていることを知る。近隣の文学好きの憩いの場なのだろうか。一期一会でこのような店に出会...
